About Our Executives
Arlene Lo
Co-Founder & Managing Member
of Jorie Healthcare Partners
Arlene started her career in telecommunications where she worked as manager for Worldcom. In 1996 she left Worldcom to find Voice & Data Group during the deregulation of the phone industry. Arlene grew Voice & Data Group to be the largest distributor for Ameritech (now AT&T) in the Chicago area reaching over $150 million in an 18-month period. Shortly after, Arlene ventured into the health care business where she built and developed a dialysis center then merged it with an existing center under the name Diamond Dialysis. Within a year of opening the center she negotiated the sale to DaVita, a $13 billion public dialysis operator. Arlene went on to design and develop a specialty surgical hospital in Beaumont, Texas whom she partnered with Bob Helms founder of a system of hospitals under Victory Healthcare. Victory Beaumont was then sold to IASIS Healthcare, headquartered in Nashville. Arlene owns and operates four procedure centers in Texas. For the last 15 years, she operates a medical management company, medical billing company and medical lien funding company. Currently, Arlene is co-founder and managing member of Jorie Healthcare Partners, where she is involved in the daily management of the company.
Sal Lo
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Sal started his career as a series 7 licensed broker and went on to start Voice & Data Group, a telecommunications company led by his sister Arlene Kalafut Lo. Sal secured the initial startup capital of $2 million on a company that would grow to $150 million in sales in 18 months. Later Sal, co-founded Signature Healthcare to be the parent company of Diamond Dialysis, a treatment center for kidney disease. After the sale of Diamond Dialysis to a public company, Sal developed the model for a specialty surgical hospital in Beaumont. Victory Specialty Surgical Hospital was co- founded by Sal and Arlene and later partnered with Bob Helms. The hospital was then purchased by IASIS Healthcare. Currently, Sal is co-founder and CEO of Jorie Healthcare Partners, where he is responsible for implementing existing plans and policies, ensuring the success of business and future strategy. Jorie provides revenue cycle management, robotic process automation, practice and change management services.
Anita Singh
CEO of International Operations at Jorie Healthcare Partners
Anita started off her career specializing in analyzing physician practices and maximizing their services while enforcing compliance.
She has experience as the Director of Operations for two elite surgery centers in the Chicagoland area representing more than 150 physicians.
She has certified over 97 employees in coding and has been teaching medical billing and coding at a university level for eight years. Her accomplishments include establishing a revenue cycle and management service organization. As a seasoned revenue generator, Anita has successfully established physician practices and facilities throughout the Houston area. Currently, Anita is the CEO of International Operations for Jorie Healthcare Partners, where she is committed to delivering value to the organization through thought leadership and quality managed services, delivered with a focus on improved margins and growth potential.
Chris Mashburn
Chief Operating Officer at Jorie Healthcare Partners
Chris started his career in law enforcement with Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Highway Patrol division from 1989 to 2004. He rose through the rankings from trooper to District Commander (Captain), Inspector in the Office of Audit and Inspection, and Commander-Governor’s Protection Detail. He provided executive protection to Texas Governor George W. Bush and family, as well as other national and international dignitaries. From 2001 to 2010, Chris served as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer for International RAM Associates (now AirServ Corporation), where he was instrumental in leading the company’s growth from startup to a successful acquisition. From 2003-2009 Chris directed all operational aspects of eight separate limited liability companies, including the expansion of new operations across the country. Currently, Chris is COO of Jorie Healthcare Partners, where he directs all operational aspects, including the expansion of new operations.
Spiro Karounos
Chief Financial Officer at Jorie Healthcare Partners
Spiro started off his career in progressively responsible financial and management positions in public and private companies. Prior to Jorie, Spiro was Business Analyst for Clifton Gunderson, LLC. He was also a Financial Analyst/Assistant CFO for an Information Technology Company in Bensenville, Illinois. His background includes extensive experience in data analytics, business development and restructuring with broad management experience in cash and risk management, accounting, finance, operations, and administration. A proven organization builder who brings strong strategic thinking, analytical ability, and tactical planning. Results driven, broadly experienced, take-charge accounting and finance professional with strong track record of delivering top performance. Currently, Spiro is the acting CFO of Jorie Healthcare Partners, where he manages the company’s finances on a day-to-day basis, which includes financial planning, record-keeping, and financial reporting.
